The Brazilian transition: memory, truth, reparation and justice (1979-2021)


The new book by Professor Eneá that updates, complements, and systematizes ideas and concepts initiated in previous texts. The author analyzes the political amnesty implemented as of 1979 in Brazil: an amnesty of memory, which does not prevent the accountability of human rights violators. She studies the mechanisms of Brazilian transitional justice until the year 2021, concluding that the country is experiencing a reverse transitional justice.
